Mrs. Janes was a wonderful woman and will greatly be missed.  I was one of her 5th grade students at Lyons Elementary many years ago. She always remembered her students from long ago. My prayers and thoughts are with her family during this time.

We were so sorry to hear about Ms. Jane.  She was an outstanding and precious lady.  Whether it was at church or out in the community she never failed to come up and ask how we were doing.   And what an outstanding family she has.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Such an awesome lady that I first loved as her student at LES.  As an adult was blessed to get to know her better when I became a part of the Bailey family next door.  Always appreciated her dedication to the Bailey's and her love for my children, Leslie and Zade. I never saw her that I wasn't blessed with a big hug!!!  Prayers for all of you as you deal with your loss....

Oh my, what a wonderful lady our Mrs. Taylor was to all of her former students.  I dearly loved her to this day.  I loved running into her in town and expressing my love and appreciation to her, and she always seemed to remember me too!  Thank you all so much for sharing her with us!

Mrs Taylor, as I knew her was my teacher in elementary school. I am sure she taught me a lot, but what I remember the most about her was she was someone fun to be around and just plain nice.

Dear Family,
I was one of Miss Jane's fifth grade students at Lyons Elementary. She was my very favorite teacher, and being an educator myself, I've connected with many teachers over the years! She was such a beauty in my eyes. I loved her clothes. She was always dressed and fixed to perfection. When she walked in front of that classroom, she had our entire interest and devotion. She had a voice that I can still hear in my mind right now. She was a great influence in my life. I took piano lessons once a week during P.E. time. One day, when I returned to class a little early before the other students came back, she asked me to come sit down beside her. We had a little personal conversation about an issue that she knew I was having. The guidance she gave me that day and her encouraging words, I have held in my heart for over 50 years. I believe that little conversation changed my life and made me a better person. She was more than just a teacher, she genuinely cared for each of us. I always loved running into her about town and getting that sweet, familiar hug. I am thankful that I had the chance many years later to tell her how much our conversation that day changed my life. She loved her students, she loved her girls, and she approached everything she did with a passion. She influenced many lives, and I am thankful to have been one of them. My prayers are with her dear family. Madolyn, Linda, and Louise...you have always had a special place in my heart. God bless you all.

Madolyn, and family.
I am saddened to hear of Ms. Jane leaving us. I will always remember her with great fondness, as well as Mr. Gene and Mr. Tim.  She often told me how much she appreciated friends I sent her to when we stopped growing onions.  I first met your parents when I worked at Davey's and I can still her the creak of the chair Mr. Gene sat in when he would visit.  My thoughts and prayers are with you, I am sorry I didn't know of this sooner.

The last time I saw Jane, I wasn't aware of her sickness, so the news that she was in hospice came as a real shock. The years have flown since I first met Jean & Jane Taylor sometime in the mid- to late-sixties!  All through the years I found her to be a woman of faith, a woman faithful to her family (Taylor & Pickren), and a fun-filled friend to a host of people. Her memory will live on through the stories that can be shared by many whose lives she touched in countless positive ways!  Rest in the glories of heaven, my friend, for you surely deserve it!
