Mrs. Johnnie Clyde Black, age 94, of Oak Park, died Sunday afternoon April 12, 2020 after an extended illness. Johnnie was a native and a life-long resident of Oak Park. Johnnie worked with Oxford of Vidalia and Federal Pacific. She was also an avid cake baker-decorator and was widely well known for her baking talent. Johnnie was a member of the Pendleton Springs Baptist Church.

Johnnie is preceded in death by one son Larry Kaye Black.

Johnnie is survived by three sons, Joe (Linda) Black of Richmond Hill, Billy Black of Ludowici, and Greg (Ellen) Black of Dallas, GA; two daughters Janet Layne of Vidalia, and Penny (Freddie) Buxton of Oak Park and one sister, Madie Lee Dickey of Mt Pleasant, SC. Eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren also survive.

A Private Graveside Service for Mrs. Johnnie Clyde Black will be held at Pendleton Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Gaynor Ridgdill officiating. Interment will be in Pendleton Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

A celebration of life service for the public will be held at Pendleton Springs Baptist Church at a later date.
