Mrs. Evelyn Beasley, age 86, of Oak Park, died Wednesday morning, January 15, 2020 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Emanuel County and was a homemaker and was an arts and crafts designer. She was a member of the Oak Park Church of God.

Mrs. Evelyn is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wesley Beasley, in 1999, one granddaughter, Bessie Murphy, two great, great grands, Grant Hill, Brinsley Kersey, and one step grandson, Curtis Beckum.

Mrs. Evelyn is survived by four sons Wesley (Carmen) Beasley Jr. of Oak Park, Elmer Beasley (Pat Mikell) of Stillmore, William (Sherry) Beasley of Glenville, Harold (Kay) Beasley of Oak Park, one daughter Loraine Murphy of Blairsville, and one brother Elmer Ment Youngblood of Baxley twenty one grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 16 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Beasley will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Oak Park Church of God with Rev Dennis Bryant and Rev Roy Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Park City Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, January 17, 2020 at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
