Mr. Winston Henry Higgs, age 84 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away January 11, 2019. He was born in Ohoopee, Georgia to the late Festus and Ofa Rolison Higgs. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Bryant. Winston retired after 33 years with Central Truck Lines. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his son, Greg (Debbie) Higgs; granddaughters, Jessica (Tim) McCabe and Christina Bryant; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Ethan McCabe; siblings, Butch (Nanci) Higgs, Meldra Higgs, Margie Patrick, Jean Herndon, Joyce Higgs and Dorothy Higgs. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 – 11:00 AM at the Ohoopee Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough, www.haistenfunerals.com.
