Mrs. Betty Ann Wooten, age 70, of Glenwood died Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Serenity Hospice of Dublin after an extended illness. 

 

Betty was a native and lifelong resident of Glenwood and previously worked at Conner Nursing Home of Glenwood. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Malathia Carey; her husband, Joe Wooten; her brother, Billy Carey; and her half-brother, Bobby Smith.

 

She is survived by her son, Josh Wooten (Mandy) of Helena; her daughter, Tracie Wooten of Macon; her brother, Jerry Carey (Beverly) of Glenwood; and her sister in law, Lee Wooten Moore of Glenwood. Six grandchildren, Autumn Green, Brittany Brown, Jarron Brown, Duke Clements, Tucker Wooten, Tayte Fountain; and two great-grandchildren, Madilynn Green, and Logan Green also survive.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Ann Wooten will be held Saturday January 12, 2019 at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel at 4:00 PM with Reverend Doyle Connell officiating. Interment will follow in Edge Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
