Mrs. Valerie “Val” Chambers age 62, of Lyons died Sunday afternoon October 28, 2018 at Meadows Health of Vidalia after a sudden illness. Val was a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho living most of her life in Florida before moving to the Lyons area five years ago. She was a member of the Vidalia-Lyons Moose Lodge 1281, where she served as Senior Regent of Chapter 1511. She was a member of the Ohoopee River Canoe Club and was Presbyterian by Faith.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Beverly Howes.

 

She is survived by her husband, Steve Chambers; two sons, Brian Chambers and Richard “Ricky” Chambers; one daughter, Stephanie Chambers; one brother, William Bill Howes; and one sister, Linda Richards.

 

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Steve and Family,
We are so saddened to hear of Val's passing. She had such a contagious smile, and oh that goofy laugh! She had such a passion for life. I will always cherish our friendship! You and your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult! Val honey, you will Forever be missed! We Love You!!

Steve there are no words that I can say that will be you any comfort . Val was a fantastic person and friend. You and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers. She is honing to be missed by so many 😢
