Ms. Holly Eva Read-Pope, age 48, died Monday morning, October 23, 2017 at her residence in Lyons after a sudden illness.
Ms. Pope had moved to Lyons in 2016 and was a nurse for 30 years. She attended Hardens Chapel United Methodist Church.
Holly was a wonderful, caring mother who loved helping people. She always put the needs of others before herself as her passion in life was making sure everyone else was taken care of.
Holly is survived by her son, Aaron Pope of Pembroke.
Memorial services for Ms. Holly Eva Read-Pope will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 11:00 am at Pembroke United Methodist Church with Reverend Robbie Joyner and Reverend Carroll Gay officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Aaron, you are the living testimony of what a good mother she was. Though I didn't know her personally, I can look at her totally amazing son and know that she had a part in nurturing your character. I love you and am praying for your comfort, strength and peace.
