Ms. Faye Taylor Stewart age 75, of Lyons died late Sunday evening, September 3, 2017 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. Ms. Stewart was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
Ms. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Stewart in 1971.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Brian Stewart (Lisa) of Blythewood S.C.; two daughters, Kristi Lynn Dubberly (Jason) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Jennifer Smith (Michael) of Oak Park; two sisters, Katie Taylor of Vidalia and Inez Horton of Vidalia; and six grandchildren, Hillary Tomaszewski, Tori Stewart, Lily Calhoun, Laila Thompson, Jacob James and Laney James.
Funeral Services for Ms. Faye Taylor Stewart will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2:00PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Keith Horton officiating. Interment will be held privately at Lyons City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 PM until the hour of the service.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
