Miss Shannon Stephens, age 53, of Oak Park died Sunday morning, August 13, 2017, at her residence after an extended illness. Shannon was a native of Waycross, living in Oak Park for the past 20 years. She was a waitress and Baptist by Faith.
Shannon is preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Garrett; and her mother, Gaynell McCumbers, both in 2016.
Shannon is survived by her father, Gene McCumbers of Oak Park; her brother, William Turner of Hilliard Florida; and her two sisters, Kristina Velte, of Lake Park, and Stephanie Taylor of Lafaytte.
Graveside funeral services for Shannon Stephens will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 11:00 am at Oak Park Cemetery with Chaplain Robert Barber officiating. Interment will follow.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
