Mr. Richard Warren Payne “Rick”, age 63, of Duluth died July 20, 2017 at the Alexander family farm near Toombs Central after a sudden illness. Richard was a native of John’s Creek GA, and moved to Vidalia just a few months ago. Richard served in the United States Marine Corps, attended Dunwoody grade school, Woodward Academy, and graduated from Peachtree Highschool. Richard was Episcopalian by Faith.
Mr. Payne is preceded in death by his father, Hammond Richard Payne.
Rick is survived by his mother, Aletha Nelijack Alexander Payne of Duluth; his brother, Daniel Alexander Payne of Colorado Springs CO; his uncles, Marion L. Alexander “Dickie” (Dot) of Lyons and C.V. Alexander Jr. (Linda) of Clarksville TN; his nephew, Daniel Alexander Payne Jr. (Michelle); and his great niece, Amelia Payne, both of Woodstock.
No services will be held.
