Mr. Tommy Leggett Sr., age 55, of Lyons died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at his residence after a sudden illness. Mr. Leggett was a native of Baxley, residing most of his life in Toombs County where he was an avid musician and worked in automotive upholstery. Mr. Leggett was Baptist by Faith.

Mr. Leggett is preceded in death by his father, Gene Leggett, and his step mother, Nora Leggett.

Mr. Leggett is survived by: his wife, Kathy Leggett of Vidalia; two sons, Timothy Leggett of Lyons and Tommy Leggett of Vidalia; four daughters, Tavi Arredondo of Lyons, Sabrina Padilla of Riley N.C., Kimberly Leggett of Holdrege Nebraska, and Alley Leggett of Vidalia; his mother, Helen Brooks of Ocilla; three brothers, Buddy Leggett, Bo Brooks, and Roger Heath, all of Ocilla; and one sister, Dale Leggett of Ocilla. Eleven grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Phillip Leggett Sr. will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 4:00 pm at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel with Reverend Scottie Pitts officiating. Interment will follow at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel Tuesday from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service.

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
