Mrs. Holly Faye Hakala, age 59, of Lyons died Friday, December 30, 2016, at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia after an extended illness. Mrs. Hakala was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church of Vidalia.

Mrs. Holly Faye Hakala is survived by her husband, Gordon Hakala of Lyons; her mother, Frankie Lanier; her children, Bobby Dees of Port Royal South Carolina, Brian Howell of Lyons, and Adam Howell (JoAnn) of Woodsboro Maryland; two brothers, Donald Corbin of Lyons and Lucian Corbin of Lyons; and one sister, Linda Wilson of Lyons. Seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Holly Faye Hakala will be Tuesday, January 3rd 2017, at 11:00 am at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Don Moye officiating. Interment will be held privately at Lyons City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel Tuesday from 10:00 am until the hour of the service.

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear about Holly. Quite a shock to me really. I have known her and all the family since she was a very small child.God bless the family and my heart goes out to everyone.

I remember Holly from school days . She and my brother& cousins use to run together. She was always full of life. May God bless you her family though this time
