Mrs. Ouida Lillian Montford, age 81, of Glenwood died Thursday, December 17, 2016, at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of Wheeler County, living most of her life in Glenwood. She was retired from Royden Wear of McRae and was a member of Hope Baptist Church.

Mrs. Montford was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Montford, in 2011.

Mrs. Ouida Montford is survived by her two sons, Jimmie Montford (Elizabeth) of Mt. Vernon, and Joe Montford (Vonda) of Glenwood; daughter, Lillian Hatfield of Cobbtown; seventeen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ouida Lillian Montford will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Reverend W R Connell and Reverend Chuck Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, December 19, at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
