Mr. Harry W. Ogle, age 68, of Glenwood died Saturday afternoon June 18, 2016 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness.

Harry was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County.  He retired as the owner/operator of Ogle Service Center where he provided 40 years of Service to Glenwood.  Harry was a Veteran of the United States Army. He served in Vietnam where he was the recipient of a Purple Heart after being wounded in combat. He was an ordained Church of God minister who previously pastored several churches and he was an active member of Glenwood Church of God.

Harry is survived by his wife, Sandy Ogle of Glenwood; three sons, Lewis Ogle of Glenwood, Robbie Ogle of Glenwood, and Josh Willis of Glenwood; five brothers, Jessie Morgan of Darlington SC, George Morgan of Glenwood; Rev. Chuck Morgan of Glenwood, Tony Morgan of Glenwood, and Curt Morgan of Glenwood; three sisters, Ann Outler of Sandersville, Pixie Bright of Charlotte NC and Tammy Stengel of Darlington SC; three grandchildren, Brandon and Landon Ogle and Taylor Bentley; and three great-grandchildren, Thomas and Kash Ogle and Pyper Bentley.

Funeral Services for Mr. Harry W. Ogle will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Glenwood Church of God with Reverend Ronnie Saxon and Reverend W.R. Connell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Edge Memorial Cemetery in Glenwood with military honors.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
