Mr. Xavier “Zay” Harris, age 26, of Ailey died Monday, May 30, 2016, in the South Thompson Community after a sudden illness.

Zay was a native of Toombs County, living many years in Hazlehurst and the past six years in Ailey. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time with his family. He attended Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in South Thompson Community.

Zay is survived by his wife, Siu Jen Harris of Ailey; one son, Kevin Rice Harris of Ailey; father, Stanley Eugene Harris of Lyons; mother, Yonda Yvonne Robinson of Hazlehurst; two brothers, Stacy Robinson of Hazlehurst and Quinton Dasher, Jr., of Glenwood; two sisters, Kwantia Lucretia Sturgis of Mt. Vernon and Quateshia Yvonne Robinson of Hazlehurst; and best friend, Shannon “Phats” Wyche of Ailey. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Xavier “Zay” Harris will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Mt. Vernon Pentecostal Church with Reverend Henry Lamb officiating.  Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday evening at the church from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Only met him a few times but he was a part of our family and I saw the love he had for sui Jen n Lil man. Pray that sui Jen can get through this case I know what a loving and tender heart she has.love you and praying for you every night
