Mr. Harris Lamar “Buddy” Crosby, age 67, of Hazlehurst, Georgia died Wednesday morning, February 24, 2016, at Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia, Georgia, after a brief illness.
Mr. Crosby was a native of Vero Beach, Florida, living most of his life in Vero Beach, many years in Sebring, Florida, and the past three years in Hazlehurst, Georgia. He was a retired chemical salesman and Baptist by faith.
Mr. Crosby is preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Crosby.
Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife, Donna Mae Crosby (Wright) of Hazlehurst, Georgia; one son, Steven Paul Crosby of Port St. John, Florida; two daughters, Patricia Casdorph of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Pamela Reading of Vero Beach, Florida; two stepsons, Tim Snider of Kissimmee, Florida, and David Snider of Port St. Lucie, Florida; one stepdaughter, Tamra Ripley of Brooklyn, Michigan; one brother, Gary Crosby of Hazlehurst, Georgia; one sister, Barbara Harrell of Vero Beach, Florida; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial Services for Mr. Harris Lamar “Buddy” Crosby will be held at a later date
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
