Mr. Antonio Villegas, age 70, of Toombs County died November 2, 2015 at Meadows Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

Mr. Villegas was a native of Laredo, Texas, living in Toombs County the past 32 years. He was a farmer, worked for James Thompson for 30 years, and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Vidalia.

Mr. Villegas is survived by his wife, Maria Evelia Bustos; two sons, Antonio Villegas, Jr., and wife Trudi of Alamo and Hector Villegas and wife Rebecca of Rincon; two daughters, Sara Hernandez and husband Anselmo of Cochran and Juanita Villegas and husband Jackie of Vidalia; two brothers, Eugenio Villegas and Raul Villegas, both of Laredo, Texas; one sister, Celia Castillo of Laredo, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Antonio Villegas will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ben Dallas officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the Stewart Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

I can not express in words how I feel for the loss of a great grandfather, father ,uncle ,brother and especially god father to his childRen and god children.. padrino I love you so much and I will always have u in my heart and in my memory.. my condolences to everyone!!
