Mr. Andrew G. Slomer, age 80, of Newnan, Georgia, died Wednesday October 21, 2015 at his residence in Newnan after a brief illness.

Mr. Slomer was a native of Butler, Pennsylvania, living from 1961 until 1982 in Lyons, Georgia. He was a retired industrial construction worker and Assembly of God by faith.

Mr. Slomer was preceded in death by his wife, Zelda Slomer (2004).

Andrew G. Slomer is survived by three sons, Gordon Marty Slomer and wife Lisa Kay of Newnan, Georgia, Thomas Andrew Slomer of McDonough, Georgia, and Kelvin Lamar Slomer and wife Wendy of Dawsonville, Georgia; three brothers, Buddy Slomer of Butler, Pennsylvania, David Slomer of Butler, Pennsylvania, and Joseph Slomer of Arizona; four sisters, Margaret Brown of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, Martha Kowal of Butler, Pennsylvania, Ruthie Pollock of Butler, Pennsylvania, and Patricia Neider of Arizona; and three grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Andrew G. Slomer will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Lyons City Cemetery with Reverend Jim Hightower officiating.  Interment will follow.  The family will receive friends at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM.
