Mrs. Marjorie Oliver Padgett, age 74, of Glenwood died Friday night May 1, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital of Augusta after a brief illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County. She was retired from Oxford of Vidalia, and a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Padgett is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Maurice Padgett in 1990.
She is survived by her son, William D. Padgett of Glenwood; her daughter Donna Lynn Young of Dearing, Georgia; her sister Elizabeth Hammond of Hawkinsville, Georgia; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Oliver Padgett will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Edge Memorial Cemetery in Glenwood with Reverend Jimmy Bedingfield officiating.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
