Mrs. Avis “Tat” Lamb, age 62, of Vidalia, died September 5, 2014 at her residence after an extended illness.

She is preceded in death by her father Bunk Weeks; mother Editha Weeks; three brothers Doyle, Buford, and Robert Weeks.  

Mrs. Lamb is survived by her husband Ray Gillis Lamb; two children Jody and his wife Joanie and Robbin Lamb; three brothers Jimmy Weeks, Ronald Weeks, and Herman Weeks; one sister Foncene Price; two half-sisters Eva Weeks and Lori Jordan; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia Saturday evening from 6-8 PM. Funeral services and interment will be privately held at Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
