Mr. Billy Carey “Billy Boy”, age 68, of Glenwood died Monday August 4, 2014 at his residence after an extended illness.

Billy worked for many years in the logging industry and attended Snow Hill Community Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Jane Carey and his brother, Bobby Smith.

Billy is survived by two daughters, Wanda Ellers of Gates NC and Rena Jackson of Corapeake NC; his brother, Jerry Carey and wife Beverly of Glenwood; his sister Betty Wooten of McRae; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Carey will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 11:00 pm at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Reverend WR Connell officiating.  Interment will follow in Edge Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Glenwood is in charge of funeral arrangements.

so sorry for y'all's loss,he was a sweet man,when I worked at flash foods he was always there just a talking and so friendly.. GOD be with you all..
