Mrs. Amy Paxson, age 32, of Lyons, died Thursday morning July 17, 2014, at Ogeechee Area Hospice of Statesboro after an extended illness.

Amy was a native and lifelong resident of Lyons. She was a homemaker and attended the Emanuel Baptist Church of Lyons.

Mrs. Paxson is survived by her husband Robert Paxson of Lyons; her daughter Kathryn Paxson Zorn of Lyons; her mother Pam Lamb and her husband Johnny of Oak Park; her father Bill King and his wife Charley Rae of Grantsburg, Wisconsin; her step-father Edward Collins of Vidalia; two sisters Tristan Zorn and her husband Cody of Lyons and Brittany Gillis and her husband John of Oak Park; and paternal grandmother Jeanette Wheeler of Vidalia.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Amy Paxson will be held Friday, July 18, 2014, at 4:00 PM at the Stewart Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel with Reverend Cody Zorn and Reverend Clinton Mincey officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:30 PM on Friday.
