D’Marco Lee Castro, age 13, of Lyons drowned Monday, June 9, 2014 while swimming in the Ohoopee River in Tattnall County.

D’Marco was a native and lifelong resident of Lyons and just finished 7th grade at Toombs County Middle School.

He is survived by his parents, Isauro and Chrystal Castro of Lyons; his brother, Dayton Kane Castro of Lyons; his sister, Isauria Nena Castro of Lyons; maternal grandmother, Lora Lynn Willis of Lyons; and paternal grandmother, Margarita Castro of Lyons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, June 13, 2014 beginning at 10:00 AM with a Rosary Service scheduled at 7:00 PM.  The Funeral Mass will follow Saturday morning at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ben Dallas officiating.  Interment will follow.
