Mr. David Rogers, age 65, of Glenwood died Saturday afternoon, March 22, 2014 at Candler Hospital of Savannah after a brief illness.

Mr. Rogers was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County.  He was a retired logger and mechanic and was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard.  He was Church of God by Faith.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Jean L. Rogers of Glenwood; two daughters, Patsy Ivey of Mt. Vernon and Betty Carey of Glenwood; his brother, H.R. Rogers of Glenwood; and two sisters, Elizabeth Jones of Jacksonville GA and Frances Schell of Rentz.  Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. David Rogers will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Glenwood Church of God with Reverend Ronnie Saxon officiating.
