Thomas Hardwick Nail Jr. moved to a more perfect home on Wednesday, December 4 after battling with liver disease and cancer.
He left behind a son, Thomas Hardwick Nail, III, who lives with a wife and two children, Cody and Savannah in Cumming, GA; a daughter Kelly Anne Gillotti, who lives with her husband in Okinawa, Japan; and a brother William Nail who lives with his wife in Orlando, Florida.
He was born in Vidalia, GA to Thomas and Mary Nail on November 16, 1945; his mother resides in Merritt Island, FL.
Tom served in the Coast Guard before retiring from the Orlando Utilities Commission.
He had a love of the outdoors, cooking, fishing, hunting and friends. He was good at making friends everywhere and showed his care towards them with his cooking skills.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 8 at 2 PM in the Lyons City Cemetery, Lyons GA with Reverend Robbie Rosier officiating.
Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons is in charge of local arrangements.
