Brad Van Buren, age 56, died Wednesday night, October 9, 2013 at Meadows Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Mr. Van Buren was a native of Miami Fl. and had lived the last several years in Douglas.  He was employed at Woody Folsom Chevrolet in Hazlehurst and was Baptist by faith.

Mr. Van Buren is survived by three daughters; Lauren Van Buren of Seattle Washington, Lyndsey Gramonte of Seattle Washington and Kaitlyn Van Buren of Bushnell Florida; two brothers, Ron Van Buren of North Carolina and Bill Thorpe of Florida.  Two grandchildren, Brysen Dawley and Valencia Gramonte, both of Seattle Washington, also survive.

Memorial Services for Mr. Brad Van Buren will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM from the Vidalia Chapel of Ronnie L. Stewart Service with Reverend Robbie Rosier officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 am until the hour of service.

Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
