Mrs. Mary Ethel Thomas, age 81, of Burleson, TX, died Saturday evening in Burleson after an extended illness.  

Mrs. Thomas was a native of Graham Texas and had lived in Burleson for the past 28 years.  She was a homemaker and a member of Cana Baptist Church in Burleson.

She is survived by her husband, Willie C. Thomas of Burleson and her step-daughter, Candy Thomas of Asheville, N.C..

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Ethel Thomas will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Reverend Kyle Woodfin officiating.  A private burial service will follow in the Alamo City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home just before the service time.
