Mrs. Dorothy Mae Jarriel Fountain, age 87, died Sunday morning, May 5, 2013 in Orlando, FL after an extended illness.
Mrs. Fountain was a native of Tattnall County, lived most of her life in Toombs County and moved to Orlando in 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fountain is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Fountain Sr.; two daughters, Martha Ann Fountain and Judy Harmon; and one son, Eddie Fountain.
She is survived by her son, Larry Fountain of Orlando, FL and her daughter Sue Ramey of Cisco, TX. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Jarriel Fountain will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Reverend Robbie Rosier officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
