Mr. Tommy McNeal, age 54, of Glenwood died Sunday morning, April 21, 2013 after a brief illness.  

Mr. McNeal was a native and lifelong resident of Glenwood.  He was a maintenance foreman for the GA Department of Transportation and he was Baptist by faith.

Mr. McNeal is preceded in death by his father, Hoke McNeal.

He is survived by his wife, Joan McNeal of Glenwood, three daughters, Maceilya Ledford of Glenwood, Lori Anderson of Glenwood and Mindy Warren of Dublin; his mother, Eunice McNeal of Alamo; three brothers, Keith McNeal of Alamo, Lynn McNeal of Alamo and Timmy McNeal of McRae; one sister, Joy Youngblood of Alamo; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Services for Mr. Tommy McNeal will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Reverend Brian Durden officiating.  Interment will follow in Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Glenwood on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

I am so soroury so to hear of the passing to Tommy. Even though some of my family and I am out of town, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I injoyed working with him when we both worked with DOT. Let me know if there is anything I can do for the family.
