Glenda Johnson, age 58, of Lyons died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Oxley Park Health and Rehab of Lyons after an extended illness.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County.  

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, George and Derothea Johnson, two brothers, Earl Johnson and Gene N. Johnson; and one sister Patricia Williamson.

She is survived by three brothers, Maxwell Johnson of Lyons, Rex Johnson of Cedar Crossing and Brent Johnson of Vidalia; three sisters, Lois Whitman of Holiday FL, Anna Pittman of Lyons and Myrle Gosa of Rome GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Glenda Johnson will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons with Reverend Robbie Rosier officiating.  Interment will follow in Harden’s Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Monday.
