Dear Mary,
We are never ready to give up our loved ones, no matter the circumstances. Please accept my sympathy for the loss of your beloved Howard. I only learned today of his passing as I thumbed through a week old newspaper. I know your heart is breaking but know also that God is close to the brokenhearted. You and all your family are in my prayers. I have thought of you many times since losing touch after you and Howard left Murfreesboro. I pray you are well. Again, I am so sorry.
