Diana Dyess, age 54 of 136 S 10th St Apt 102, passed away Wednesday September 20, 2012 at her residence in Lyons after an extended illness. She was a native of Yulee FL and lived most of her life in Lyons. She was a commercial truck driver by trade and was Baptist by faith.
Diana Dyess is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Janet Godfrey and also her brother Edwin Godfrey II.
She is survived by: one son, Michael Pilch of Jacksonville FL; 4 daughters, Tonya Pilch of Fernandina Beach FL, Catherine Smith of Oak Ridge TN, Rebecca Vann of Alamo GA and Amy Barber of McRae GA; one brother, Michael Godfrey of Fernandina Beach FL and two sisters, Michele Cook of Yulee FL and Susan Milenek of St. George FL. Additional survivors include four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Jones-Stewart Funeral Home in Lyons will be in charge of the arrangements.
