Mrs. Ivonne Cruz age 43, of Vidalia died Thursday morning October 25, 2018 at her residence under the care of Community Hospice after an extended illness. Ivonne was a native of Mexico City Mexico, living in Vidalia the past 30 years. Ivonne worked as a Food Service Supervisor at East Georgia College in Swainsboro and attended Trinity Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her husband, Joe Donahue of Vidalia; three sons; Arturo Tovar of Vidalia, Esteban Tovar Jr.(Daisy) of Cobbtown, and Leonando Tovar of Vidalia; one daughter, Allyson Donahue of Vidalia; her parents, Alberto and Irene Cruz of Vidalia; four brothers, Luis Cruz of Jackson Michigan, Alberto Cruz of Mexico, Uriel Cruz of Mexico, and Raul Cruz of California; two sisters, Leticia Cruz and Maria Elena Cruz, both of Dallas Texas; and two grandchildren, Esteban III and Marissa.

 

Sunrise Funeral Services for Mrs. Ivonne Cruz will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 6:30 AM at Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Chris Vinson officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation at Trinity Baptist Church Friday, October 26, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.

I am so shocked to hear the passing of Ms.Cruz She will diff be missed I remember when I first started at East Ga and when my meal card went missing i was very worried how i was going to eat for the week she made sure I had something to eat...
