Mr. Louie Daughtry, age 69, of Wheeler County died Sunday morning, March 4, 2018 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness.  

Mr. Daughtry was a native of Columbus GA, living for the past 30 years in Wheeler County.  He was a retired owner/operator of Daughtry Trucking Company and was an avid fisherman.  He attended Snowhill Community Church.

Louie is survived by his wife, Sharon Daughtry of Wheeler County; his son, Jason Curtis of Hayden AL; two daughters, Nicole Curtis of Woodstock, and Mary Hull of Tuscaloosa AL; one brother, Gene Daughtry of Pheonix City AL; two sisters, Sharon Daughtry and Dorothy Daughtry of Sumter SC; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Camden, Rachel, Elizabeth and Shelley.

Funeral Services for Mr. Louie Daughtry will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Snowhill Community Church with Reverend W.R. Connell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
