Mrs. Cynthia “Ma” McAlum, age 66, of Glenwood, died early Friday morning, September 20, 2019 at University Hospital of Augusta, after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, living in Glenwood most of her life. She was a Food Service Supervisor and was a member of the Glenwood Church of God.

Mrs. McAlum was a loving Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, and Friend to all who knew her.  She is survived by her husband Bug McAlum of Glenwood, Her mother Meredith Partin of Lyons, one son Roger Brannon, of Glenwood, one Daughter Heather McAlum, of Glenwood, Two brothers Ricky Partin of Uvalda, and Greg Partin of Lyons, and One sister Tabitha Hutto of Lyons, along with several other family members including nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. McAlum will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel, with Reverend Ronny Saxon and Reverend Wayne Swanson officiating.

Interment will follow at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Wheeler County.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Vidalia Chapel Sunday evening from 3:00PM – 5:00PM.
