Mr. Horace Mann, age 86, of Elberton died December 24, 2018 in a nursing facility in Elberton. 

Mr. Mann was a native of Lyons GA, lived most of his life in Dunnellon FL and had resided in Elberton for just over a year.  He was an electrical engineer who worked many years for Western Electric and later retired from AT&T. He was Methodist by Faith.

Mr. Mann is preceded in death by his wife Timi Mann; and his parents Herman and Lucille Mann.

He is survived by his brother, Charles Mann (Frances) of Elberton GA.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Horace Mann will be held Monday January 7, 2019 at Lyons City Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Reverend Tommy Anderson officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends for visitation at Chatters Restaurant of Lyons at 11:30 AM on the day of the service.
