Mr. Erma Walden “E.W.” Dixon Jr., age 75, of Vidalia died early Saturday morning November 10, 2018 at Meadows Park after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County; and was owner/operator of Dixon Timber. He was Baptist by Faith.

E.W. Jr. is preceded in death by his parents: E.W. Sr. and Marion Dees Dixon.

E.W. Jr. is survived by two brothers, Richard Dixon (Janice) of Vidalia, and Rusty Dixon (Diane) of Lyons; and two sisters, Elaine Stewart and Pansy Dunford, both of Vidalia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services for Erma Walden “E.W.” Dixon Jr. will be held Monday November 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Reece Mincey officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the cemetery Monday November 12, 2018 from 10:30AM until 11:00AM.
