Mr. Herman Myers, age 68, of Glenwood, died Saturday, September 26, 2015, at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Myers was a native and lifelong resident of Glenwood. He worked in construction as a drywall/sheetrock installer and was Church of God by faith.

Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his sister Myrtle Turner.

Mr. Myers is survived by his sister Peggy Elton of McRae; special friend Margaret Carver; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Herman Myers will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Scotland City Cemetery with Linda Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
