Mr. Kenneth Troy Sweat Sr. of Brunswick died Friday April 10, 2015 at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick after an extended illness.

Mr. Sweat was a native of Brunswick and had resided in Cedar Crossing for many years before returning to Brunswick in 2011.  He is a retired brick Mason; a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Golden Isles Church of God.  

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Nina Sweat of Brunswick; four sons, Kenny Sweat, Rusty Sweat, Jody Sweat and Josh Sweat, all of Cedar Crossing; two daughters, Angie Thompson and Ashley Sweat Coleman, both of Cedar Crossing; three brothers, Greg Sweat, Tommy Sweat and Bryan Sweat, all of Brunswick; five sisters, Kathye McCullen of Brunswick, Faye Sweat of Hortense, Lana Mauney of Hortense, Lena Wiggins of Darien and Delaine Hartsell of Jacksonville Fl.; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel.
