Mrs. Nancy Poole, age 70, of Glenwood died Tuesday night, March 24, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital of Savannah after a brief illness.

Nancy was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County.  She was a retired seamstress and housekeeper.  She attended Glenwood Church of God.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Poole in 2008.

She is survived by her son, John Lewis “Tomnot” Poole of Glenwood; her daughter, Patricia Edge and husband Ray of Mt. Vernon; her brother, Lucky Hullender and wife Joyce of Orlando, FL; her sister, Sally Thomas and Glenn Garrett of Vidalia; six grandchildren, D.J. Brantley, Renee Young, Kimberly Thigpen, Niki Wolfe, John Lewis Poole and Dusty Edge; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Poole will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at Glenwood Church of God at 1:30 PM with Reverend Ronnie Saxon officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
