Mr. Ransom Bean, age 47, of Mt. Vernon died Wednesday September 3, 2014 at this residence after an extended illness.

Mr. Bean was a native of Florida and had lived most of his life in Montgomery County.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Ailey United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Bean; his brother, Arden Bean and brother-in-law Michael Morris.

Ransom is survived by two brothers, Michael Pringle and wife Pat of Melbourne Australia and Gary Bean and wife Cathy of Ailey; and three sisters, Sherri Morris of Ailey, Lorna Myer of Ft. Wayne Indiana, and Samone Marks of Naples FL.  Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
