Mrs. Millie Faye Davis, age 74, of Vidalia, died Thursday June 26, 2014 at her residence after a sudden illness.

She was a native of Treutlen County and lived in Vidalia for the past 60 years. She was retired from Oxford of Vidalia. She was Baptist by faith.

Ms. Davis is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Grady Davis in 2004.

She is survived by her son; Harold Davis, of Vidalia; two daughters Sheila Waters, of New Ellenton, South Carolina, Connie Lanier, of Graceville Florida; her sister Mary Beasley, of Vidalia; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mrs. Millie Faye Davis will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Stewart Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend H.G. Ridgdill officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
