New York-Vidalia

Mrs. Cindy Lockley Martin, age 56 of New York,New York, died Monday night in New York after a brief illness.  Cindy was a native of Toombs County and for the past 15 years lived in Australia, China, Germany, Dubai and most recently New York.  She was an Assistant Electrical Engineer employed by the Siemens Company and was Baptist by faith.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Brandi Parker in 2009.  Cindy is survived by her husband, Jeff Martin of New York, New York; one daughter, Alisa Martin of Vidalia; her mother, Lottie Graham Lockley of Vidalia; two brothers, Larry Lockley of Lyons and Jimmy Lockley of Murphesboro, TN; two sisters, Laverne Cannon of Mt. Dora, FL and Debbie Manning of Vidalia.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cindy Lockley Martin will be conducted Saturday afternoon, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Reverend Andy Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home one hour before the services.
