Mr. David P. Crowson, age 64, of Lithonia, died Sunday afternoon, May 3rd, 2020 at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital of Conyers after a brief illness. David was a native of Alabama living most of his life in south Georgia before moving to Atlanta in 1998. He was the administrator of Glenwood Hospital for many years. David was also the owner of Montgomery Medical and D.C.’s Service Station. He held a master’s from University of Alabama and was a Gideon. He was also a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kibbee.

David is survived by his wife, Alicia Crowson of Lithonia; one son, Dailon Crowson of Lithonia; two brothers, Danny Crowson of Abel, Alabama and Joel Crowson of Heflin, Alabama; and one sister, Kayren Freeman of Abel, Alabama.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. David P. Crowson will be held Saturday May 9th, 2020 at Cornerstone Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Joe Aldridge and Roy Mimbs officiating. Interment will follow.

David was a good friend. I worked with him for awhile at Wheeler County Hospital. He was a great person. Rest In Peace my friend. Prayers for all his family.

David gave me my job as EMS Director in Wheeler County for the Hospital. He was always a friend and great guy. Sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family.

We are very sad to hear that David passed way. He was always pleasant and willing to do what he could for somebody else. He was a nice friend. We have his family in our prayers.
