Mr. Anthony “Pumkin” Cooper, age 50, of Lyons, died peacefully in the early hours on Thursday morning, February 13, 2020 at his residence after an extended illness. Pumkin was a native and a life-long resident of Toombs County. Pumkin was a longtime industrial worker by trade. Pumkin was Baptist by faith.
Pumkin is preceded in death by his mother Judy Cooper.
Pumkin is survived by one brother, Larry Cooper of Vidalia, an aunt, Debra Hackle of Lyons, one aunt and uncle, Tina and Al Hinson of Soperton, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Anthony “Pumkin” Cooper will be held Saturday February 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Vidalia Chapel of Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service. Reverend W.R. Connell will be officiating. Interment will follow at Boiling Springs Cemetery near Soperton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday February 15, 2020 at 10:00 am until funeral hour in the Vidalia chapel of Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service.
