Mrs. Lynette R. Joiner, age 74, of Oak Park died Friday November 2, 2018 at Meadows Health after an extended illness. 

Mrs. Joiner was a native of Toombs County and had resided in Oak Park for the past 30 years.  She was a retired convenience store manager and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Pendleton Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Joiner is preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Rowland; her daughter, Alecia Kilpatrick; her sister, Margueritte Usher; her brother, J.W. Rowland; and two grandchildren, Jeffery and Haeleigh.

Lynette is survived by her husband, James E. Joiner of Oak Park; her daughter, Sheryl Knight of Uvalda; two brothers, Ed Rowland of Vidalia and Dale Rowland of Vidalia; her special brother-in-law, Glenn Joiner of Vidalia; six grandchildren, Kerilynn, Stormy, Dakota, Dylan, Marissa and Aiden; and her great-grandson, Bryson.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lynette R. Joiner will be held Thursday November 8, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Melvin Kramer and Reverend H.G. Rigdill officiating. Entombment will follow at Pendleton Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Wednesday evening November 7, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
