Miss Wendy Kay Carey, age 35, of Glenwood died late Sunday evening October 8, 2017 at Navicent Health of Macon after an extended illness.
Miss Carey was a native and lifelong resident of Glenwood and she was a 2002 graduate of Wheeler County High School. She was Pentecostal by Faith; an avid lover of gospel music who witnessed to others by singing in church and providing gospels CD’s to many.
Against all odds Wendy proved to be a true miracle. Against the opinions of her doctors she lived a full life of 35 years after being born with Spina Bifida.
Miss Carey is survived by her mother, Holly Carey and her sister, Terri Marie Carey, both of Glenwood.
The family will conduct a memorial service Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00AM at Mt. Vernon Pentecostal Church with Sister Kathy Powell officiating.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Glenwood Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
