Mr. Roger “Shorty” Jackson, age 46, of Glenwood died Friday, December 23, 2016, at Optim Medical Center of Reidsville after a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his fathers, Charles Rogers and David Thomas Jackson Jr. He was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County, Georgia. He worked as a mechanic and truck driver and was Baptist by Faith.
Mr. Roger Jackson is survived by his spouse, Angel Faircloth Jackson of Alamo; two sons, Roger Dale Jackson Jr. of Alamo, and Tony Nathaniel Jackson of Alamo; mother, Margaret Rogers of Cedar Crossing; and three brothers, Clayton Phelps of Johnson Corner, Ricky Jackson of Tallahassee Florida, and David Thomas Jackson of Cedar Crossing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Roger Jackson will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Reverend W R Connell officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, December 26, at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
