Mr. Bill Beasley Sr., ae 72, of 753 Jack O’Neal Road (Rock Springs Community), died late Monday night, March 21, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.

Mr. Beasley had lived for the past 30 years in the Rock Springs Community and he was a retired roofer.  Bill served in the United States Army and he was Baptist by Faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Thelma O’Neal Beasley of the Rock Springs Community; his son, Bill Beasley Jr. of Waynesboro; three daughters, Wanda Williams and Mark Toefer of Pinellas Park, FL, Billie “Boo” Beasley of the Rock Springs Community, and Angie Saggus and husband Scott of Reidsville; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Sarah, Madison, Will, Hannah, Hailey and Emiley; and four great grandchildren, Myla, Rae, Cameron and Haley. Bill is also survived by his sister, Georgia Lee Cope of Pensacola FL and several other siblings.  

Funeral services for Mr. Bill Beasley will be Friday, March 25, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel with Reverend Henry Dowd officiating.  Interment will follow at South Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:30 until the time of the service.

Active Pallbearers will be Fred Lawrence, Bubba Lawrence, Michael Oliver, Scott Saggus, Ryan Varnadore and Jimmy Miller; honorary pallbearers will be Vandell O’Neal, Jim Paul Hadden, Trent Williams, Doug O’Neal and Bill O’Neal.  

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
