Aliece Blackmon Brannen, age 84, of 618 Hammonds Church Road, Lyons, died Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness.
Mrs. Brannen was a native of Meridian, Mississippi and had lived in Lyons for the past five years. She was a retired retail store manager with Woolworth Clothing with 27 years of service. She was Baptist by faith.
Aliece is survived by her son, Edward E. Blackmon Jr. and wife Karen of Lyons; and two brothers, Billy Ray Peters of Meridian, MS and Wayne Peters of Meridian, MS. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
There will be no services.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
